Déjà Vu in San Bernardino

Police officers conduct a manhunt after a mass shooting in San Bernardino This past Tuesday, another heartbreaking mass shooting rocked the nation. In what is now being called an “act of terror” a husband and wife duo took the lives of 14 people and injured 17 others in San Bernardino, California. According to reports, Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik entered an ongoing office Christmas party at a social services agency for the developmentally disabled, where they mercilessly opened fire. U.S. officials discovered that “Malik and Farook had two assault-style rifles, two semi-automatic handguns, 6,100 rounds of ammunition and 12 pipe bombs in their home or with them when they were killed” in a shootout with police. U.S. government sources also revealed today that Malik had apparently pledged allegiance to the Islamic State terrorist group (ISIL) and its leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Similar to the attackers of the Paris massacre that took place last month, this terrorist couple sought a “soft target” office party due to the fact that it was a gathering of many people in an unguarded and unsuspecting location.
