In our latest spotlight, we’re thrilled to introduce you to Patricia, a Campus Security Officer at Cambridge College in Boston, MA. Patricia has not only exemplified our company’s core values but has also chosen one that resonates with their personal and professional Windwalker experience: Providing Exceptional Client Experience. Their dedication to this core value and to Windwalker serves as an inspiration to us all.
Below are several questions we asked Patricia, along with her responses,
Where are you from?
I live in Dorchester, but I’m from Cape Verde. I came here when I was a teenager.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
I open up the office and do the first of my hourly tours (patrols). As people come to the desk throughout the day, I assist them with what they need.
What do you do outside of work for fun?
I like to play soccer and work out. I also like to go out sometimes with my friends, and I like traveling- that’s my favorite thing to do.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I like art. I used to paint a lot, it’s still something I enjoy.
What is the highlight of your workday?
I like going on tours because it’s a change of pace, and I like helping people who come in looking for information. I try so hard to help because I know that sometimes people come from far away and there might not be someone here to help them with what they need. I make sure to help them as best I can with whatever they need.
What inspired you to work in the security field?
It’s good money and it’s something that I like to do because I am helping people.
If you were to tell others about your experience working at Windwalker, what would you say?
Working at Windwalker is great because I have the opportunity to get overtime here. With the schedule I have, I’m also thinking about going back to school to study cyber security.
